"Gato"

We fondly call Gato the heart of Luigi's. Some call him a legend, some call him a master, and the kids call him the G.O.A.T.


But to us, he's the heart and he's our family.


Gato has been a part of the family since 2012 and has been making some of the best pizza in Northern New Jersey since. His creativity and ambition for his work is seen in his pizza. His passion is unlike anything we have ever seen and it inspires us to work just as hard.


He is a FORCE of a human. He's loud, he's funny, he's kind, and he loves to make pizza. Sometimes, he's having so much fun that we have to put you guys on hold to get him to quiet down. What's better than enjoying what you do so much that you're laughing, smiling, and joking around? Gato has made that possible for us.


The culture of Luigi's starts with him. He's made all of us here feel welcome and a part of something. So much so that all of here at Luigi's don't call each other coworkers; we call each other family.
